A Cleveland native, Mike studied Glass Art at the Cleveland Institute of Art and worked full-time in the glassblowing industry for 10 years. At Muller he works primarily in the woodshop but has proven to be a skilled leatherworker and wood finisher. Mike finds the combination of skills required for building organs (designer, painter, woodworker, mechanic, etc.) to be an energizing variety. He enjoys learning about the mechanics of the pipe organ and the process of building custom instruments. When he’s not working, you can find him gardening and cooking with his wife and two young daughters. He also continues to enjoy the creative process of glassblowing as a hobby.
