He met John Muller when his high school organ teacher arranged for him to hold notes while John tuned an organ in Beckley, WV. During college, he spent summers working at the Muller shop.
After college he worked full-time in the shop, trying all aspects of the business before finding his niche in the voicing room. His favorite things about working at Muller are collaborating with the fun people in the shop and the energy produced by thinking through projects together.
Holding two degrees in organ performance, Scott has worked as organist for Episcopal, Methodist, Lutheran, and Baptist churches.
In addition to his duties as Tonal Director, he is Director of Music at All Saints Episcopal Church in Richmond, VA. On the rare occasion that he has free time, Scott likes to golf and work on home improvement projects.
